The French Cameroun Military continues to kill in innocent civilians in English-Cameroon(Ambazonia) almost nine years into the civil war which Africa’s oldest and most brutal dictator, Paul Biya, declared more than 8 years ago. The recent killings on 9 August 2025, incensed the population as the affected two were loveable men. Numfor Peter Ngwa commonly called Sheriet Ambnashibo and Ngwa Kingsly Ayunwi were hardworking men, who got up that morning to hustle for their families. Kingsly, a bike rider just left the hospital followings months of surgery. He wanted to look for money for school fees for his children. Mr. Peter on his part was from his garden to harvest vegetables for his breakfast meal.

EyeWitness Accounts

Eyewitness say the French Cameroun military that has no regard for Anglophone lives had slept in the bushes waiting for their ADF proxy kidnapping agents who frequent the village. One of the kidnapers was spotted with a gun and instead of the military targeting him alone, they aimed their bullets at the innocent villagers who were up that day to hustle for their lives. The bodies of the innocent men were pierced with bullets(See video attached below). Kingsly’s bike and other bikes were torched by the French Cameroun soldiers. who don’t exhibit such disregard for lives in the French-speaking zones of the Kameruns.

Zero Sanctions for the Sanguinary LRC Soldiers

The killings of these two innocent civilians mimics same actions carried out in the same village less than a year ago when another bike repairer was killed and a grand mother’s skull shattered by the same soldiers in the guise of looking for Ambazonia freedom fighters. After shattering her skull, the soldiers escorted her to her home to die, instead of taking her to a hospital. An act that highlights the French Cameroun soldiers disregard for Anglophones lives. Although the grand mother survived the shooting, she lost her mental alertness. She is mentally-unstable. The big question is DON’T ANY MILITARY OPERATION HAS ITS EVALUATIOPN AFTERWARDS? Why has the soldiers been free to abuse citizens in Anglophone Cameroon(Ambazonia) without any consequences?The answer is the disregard for Anglophone lives by the colonial French Cameroun soldiers backed by France. The late Numfor Peter’s ypounger brother – Niba Vitalis, was innocently executed by the same French Cameroun military. Global Silence is a Shame

These “targeted killings” are evident in the killings and burning mostly in rural areas in English-speaking Cameroon, where the French-Speaking population is unlikely to be present. However, there are overwhelming evidence of genocide. These incorporates asking  entire villages to leave or be exterminated, calling English-speaking people dogs or terrorists (Click here), scorching entire communities (Click here),killing of innocent civilians (and justifying their extermination with fake Dane guns), mass raping (Click here) and purposeful humiliation like asking citizens to swim in mud, (Click here)among others.

These crimes have largely been under-reported by organizations that governments around the world depend on for informed decisions such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, International Crisis Group, Genocide Watch among others. These organizations that are still to independently and thoroughly investigate these killings continue to use fake figures from the government of Cameroun that has no credibility in the eyes of its own subjects, talk less of the global community. Despite social media evidence of these crimes, the continuous use of these fake figures have helped to an extent to reduce the conflict to a courtyard feud of two kids, thus providing cover for the continuous extermination of the English-speaking population with no remorse. Bold face lies of recent by the French-speaking Cameroun government include denial of its soldiers executing innocent women and children in the Northern part of the country (BBC, Click here), denial of killings of men-of-God among others (Read more at globalgong website). Since 2016 when the civil war between the minority English-speaking people and the majority French-speaking sections of the Kameruns, more than 54,000 people have been killed with more than 800 villages burnt by the French Cameroun soldiers.
