The Palace at French Cameroun’s Capital Yaounde, has been more than a beehive, including leaders who have deliberately watched in silence the massacre of more than 16,000 British Southern Cameroonians. The guests on the 27th of November, 2019, were an epitome of nothing, but neo-colonialsim – From the Commonwealth’s Patricia Scotland to the Francophonie’s Louise Mushikiwabo, and the French-controlled African Unon’s President Moussa Faki Mahamat . The ineffectual nature of their visit is epitomized by King Biya’s execution of five more innocent British Southern Cameroonians.

While these accomplices to the genocide in British Cameroon, were smiling at King Biya’s Holiday Reserve in Etoudi in Yaounde, the French-sponsored French Cameroun soldiers were on a killing spree in British Southern Cameroon. At least 5 innocent farmers were executed point blank in the farming community of Muea, Southern Zone of British Cameroon by French Cameroun’s appointed Administrator and ICC prospect Okalia Bilai. Their crimes – being Male and British Southern Cameroonians. These farmers were caught on their way to their farms. The lifeless bodies could be seen with their farming tools like machetes. In British Cameroon, it is but normal for anybody to be termed a terrorist, and executed the French Cameroun soldiers, now seen as occupiers by the population.

These Atrocity Crimes have been going on now for over three years. All calls for these three organizations or bodies to intervene have been futile. Patricia Scotland’s Commonwealth has snubbed protests by victims of this genocide in London, pretending, they have not received the reports from British Southern Cameroonians. She is on record in 2017, calling for Dialogue between the two territories. two years later with more than 16000 killed, her organization has failed to acknowledge French Cameroun’s violation of core Commonwealth principles, despite consistent sanctions by the U.S of the French Cameroun government for such abuses. The Francophonie and the African Union, both controlled by France have no incentive to solve the conflict as they see it as an expansion of France’s and Francophonie’s language and influence, on this former British autonomous territory which gained its independence in 1961. Some of the bullets were buried almost half a meter deep, where Amahbo Cyprain, about 19 was shot in Njimbee, Bafut, by French Cameroun Soldiers/militias. “We all were in the kitchen and the soldiers after prolonged shooting in the village and burning of the house of our neighbor, entered my house. We were all in panic, They pulled out my son and asked us to follow them. They then shot him in front of us, and ensured he bled to death before they left. There was no Restoration boys in our quarter. There was no exchange of fire. My son was a tire repair man in Bambui. He is an innocent child. Why they executed him like that, we cannot explain. To watch your own son bleed and die in front of you is….”. The traumatized parents of Amahbo Cyprain, could not hold back pain and tears as they told mourners last 16 November, 2019, at the interment of their son.

It should be noted that 50 Frenchcameroun soldiers invaded the quiet community of Njimbee, Bafut, on 12 November, 2019, shooting indiscriminately. A lucky victim recounts this: “I slept in a furrow 6 meters away, and saw them passing after they told me, not to run. I called on God to cover me with his blood. Muma Orlando, whom we stood was caught and shot about half a km away”. A panic-stricken survivor narrates. “They then, proceeded to smash all doors, ransacking houses, collecting valuables including cell phones. In short, they are thieves. They went to the square (Business District), smashed into bars and emptied the drinks. Amahbo Cyprain, another innocent civilian was also shot. They proceeded to burn the house of Pa Ngwa Mathew. It’s terrible. Our village has been peaceful all along. What they are looking for, I can’t tell” The shaky voice said. “I have remained in the village like others who dread the odds. Now I have to leave, to where, I don’t know?” the drained victim concluded.

The genocide in the British Southern Cameroon, has claimed more than 15,000 lives, with more than 1.2 million displaced. Also, more than 3 million children are out of school. An additional 9200 homes have been burnt, with some 75,000 as refugees in Nigeria.The French Cameroun soldiers carrying out the Atrocity Crimes under 86-year-old Paul Biya, in power since 1992, have remained unsanctioned by the international community. According to the frail octogenarian – Paul Biya in Paris, France on 11 -13 November, 2019, the genocide on the minority English-speaking people of the Former British Cameroon, is to assimilate them into the larger French Cameroun (click here for video). This victim like others will now join the list of Internally-Displaced persons (IDPs) in the war in British Southern Cameroon (Ambazonia), declared by 86-year-old  Frail Paul Biya, in power since 1982. The refugee crisis began with French Cameroun Administrators, promising to eliminate villagers if they do not abandon their villages. Later on, it was the deliberate scorching of villages, which has continued till date. More than 10,000 homes, schools and hospitals have been burnt by the French Cameroun military, with the blessing of the frail president.

Biya, has increasingly been isolated by the international community, but his Grand Son – President Macron, 41, of France.  France maintains a close exploitative economic relations with brutal regimes in mostly French Africa. In 2006, they forced Idriss Deby, of Chad to change his constitution. When he refused, the French changed the constitution, campaigned for him and maintained him in power against his will. Deby, came to power in in 1990.

Barely three weeks after independence on 28th September, 1958, Guinea Conakry’s Sekou Toure, rejected France’s conditional independence. For the daring Toure, ” It is better to be poor and free, than to live in opulence and be a slave“. The result was French vexation, manifested through the withdrawal of all Financial, economic and technical assistance to the country. French Infrastructural installations were even removed in offices and streets of Guinea. It was a lesson, for the other French colonies not to try to buck France’s dictum.Till date, that loyalty has remained intact, with France changing constitutions and organizing elections for leaders they want in the continent. When the African Union’s Ambassador to the United States, Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, was fired for standing up against France’s exploitation of Africa, on 7 October, 2019, the French-controlled African Union like France in Guinea ensured her positive footprints in the organization were deleted. “They have undone everything I did for the African Union”, the unrepentant advocate says. ” They took out my arts work, they shut down the radio station, shut down the Facebook and social media accounts”, Dr. Arikana told well-wishers at her farewell message in Washington DC, this week. The true PanAfricanist was firm, that France cannot be allowed to bully Africa into handing over their wealth to her. This is not even stealing, for a thief is scared of the owner. France is simply bullying these countries into surrendering their wealth Dr. Arikana states. She pledges to gather more than a million signatures to confront the UN and Human Rights organizations to ensure this colonial pact with France is severed.
